HEBREW LEARNING

The Hebrew language is a passport to deeper engagement in Jewish prayer and sacred texts. Will this be the year you embark on the journey?

BMC currently recommends the following pathways to learning Hebrew:

  • Your local Jewish Community Center can be an ideal place to find a Hebrew class with a qualified instructor.

  • Messianic Jewish Theological Institute offers an annual four-part course on biblical Hebrew which is ideal for the adult beginner student. For details, see the MJTI website

  • For those who have studied biblical Hebrew before, the New School for Jewish Studies sometimes offers Hebrew refresher courses. For availability/details, see the New School website.
